Electronic paper, otherwise known as ePaper, is a miraculous display technology — it’s able to digitally approximate the reflective and visual properties of a physical sheet of paper, and it can do so with convincing accuracy. When compared with other modern display technologies like LCD and OLED, ePaper is undeniably the superior choice in certain circumstances: eReaders, note-taking pads, retail price labels, and billboards spring to mind as ideal use cases for the tech.
