“This place is small. It’s not like they have 50 to 60 people there at a time. I’ve used their facilities and they’re fine, quaint actually. This small business provides spirits without poisonous chemicals in them. I’ve been there many times. They do not serve food, so why would Marion County require a food permit? They are only open Thursday to Sunday, I believe. They do give small tours of the operation, because it’s interesting to see how spirits are made. To me, it looks like an attack. Everything the commission seems to be asking for will take a bit of time, and it’s like a 100 degree heat index out there now, for Pete’s sake. Give them time to get things up to code, don’t just shut them down.” – An Ocala resident shares her opinion about a business that is in jeopardy of losing a special use permit to operate.
