‘Benchmark’ win for Dundee

1 Min Read
Dundee goalscorer Drey Wright insists the 3-1 win over St Mirren should be the standard of performance they seek from now on after ending a four-game Premiership losing streak. Despite falling behind after Clark Robertson gifted the opener to Mikael Mandron, Steven Pressley’s side bounced back to record a vital win that lifted them to ninth in the table. After Alex Gogic deflected into his own net to equalise, Wright’s powerful shot from outside the area caught St Mirren goalkeeper Shamal George out before Joe Westley settled the win.
