What is the craft box? Sarah Paugh: “The Craft Box is a mobile DIY craft kit shop bringing creative, pop-up fun to local breweries and distilleries. Each kit includes everything you need to complete a project, right on-site or to-go. No sign-ups, no instructors, just laid-back hands-on crafting at your own pace.”

How does it work?
Sarah Paugh: “Choose a kit from our menu, pay at the truck window, and find a cozy spot to get crafty. Our kits are designed for all skill levels and ages, so there’s something for everyone.”

Why did you start the business?
Sarah Paugh: “We started The Craft Box because we wanted to give people ‘something to do while they enjoy their brew.’ As longtime DIY lovers and supporters of local small businesses, we combined our passions to create something unique and fun. We saw a gap in the market and knew we could offer a fresh, creative experience.”

What past experience have you had with crafting?
Sarah Paugh: “A little background: Over a decade ago, I owned a craft business focused on chalk-painted furniture and repurposed home decor. I also ran a cleaning and organizing business. Creating and helping others find joy in the process has always been a part of what I do.”

Why do you think people like crafts?
Sarah Paugh: “We believe people love the chance to unplug, slow down and do something creative, and we’re here to bring that little spark of fun and relaxation to their day.

Do you see a location demand beyond breweries?
Sarah Paugh: “Right now, we offer bulk orders for parties and events, and we’re planning to launch an online store next year. Our long-term dream? A brick-and-mortar space with local brews on tap and plenty of room to grow our offerings.”

What else do you want people to know about The Craft Box?
Sarah Paugh: “Check out our website for our current kit menu, event calendar and to sign up for email updates. You can also follow us on Facebook and Instagram for photos, event info and plenty of crafty inspiration.”
